Dr. Sarah Martins, R.Ac, RMT, RYT

Delving into the world of health care immediately after high school, Sarah studied Therapeutic Massage at Foothills Massage Therapy College in Calgary, Western Herbology at Terry Willard’s Wildrose College for Holistic Medicine, Aromatherapy with Dr. Blaine Andrusek, Eastern Herbal Medicine at the Alberta College for Acupuncture, Chakra Yoga Healing at the Chakra Yoga Centre in Thailand and Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at ACATCM in Calgary.

She spent a decade filling her tool belt with diverse disciplines to more aptly treat her patients with varying diseases and discomforts. She used her time in school to bring her own body into it’s most optimal functioning so that she could treat from personal experience as well as from acquired knowledge.

She worked closely with spinal injury and post stroke patients during her internship and gained a lot of experience in alleviating pain and encouraging normal body alignment.

Her greatest enjoyment is in working with patients to encourage their reproductive and emotional health. She feels she creates a space in the clinic for people to truly rest, relax and feel rejuvenated.

Her treatments consist of cupping, acupuncture and hot stone massage equaling an hour of healing for each session. At the patient’s request she teaches homecare exercises and makes recommendations for herbal formula supplementation following treatment.
